Why I Compete

"I participate in athletics because I enjoy competing, improving my skills, and being part of a team. I love working toward goals with my teammates and pushing myself to be better every day. One of my favorite parts of athletics is the family atmosphere. My teammates and coaches have become like family, and the support we give each other makes being an athlete so meaningful."

"Participating in athletics has prepared me for success by teaching me discipline, time management, teamwork, and perseverance. Being a student-athlete has taught me how to balance multiple responsibilities while staying focused on my goals. Athletics have also shown me how to work through challenges and rely on my teammates, just like a family, for support and encouragement."
