HANNIBAL, Mo. — The Hannibal-LaGrange University Men's Basketball Team celebrated its senior class in exciting fashion Saturday afternoon, storming back in the second half to defeat Williams Baptist University 88-75 inside the Mabee Sports Complex to close out the regular season. With the victory, the Trojans secured the No. 2 seed in the American Midwest Conference Tournament and will play Harris–Stowe State University on Thursday night at 7:30 p.m on the campus of Mission University
After trailing at halftime, Hannibal-LaGrange delivered one of its strongest second-half performances of the season, outscoring the Eagles 52-30 over the final 20 minutes behind balanced scoring and dominant bench production.

Davaughn Hueitt led the Trojans with 25 points, shooting 7-of-13 from the field and 5-of-9 from three-point range while adding five rebounds, five blocks, and two steals.
Ian McDonald added 21 points off the bench, knocking down four three-pointers and going 5-of-6 from the free-throw line.
Kell Estep recorded a double-double with 18 points and a game-high 12 rebounds while also dishing out three assists.
Benjamin Noonan paced Williams Baptist with 20 points, while Deion Wesson added 16 and Aseem Luckey finished with 14 points and 10 rebounds.

Williams Baptist controlled much of the opening half, shooting 52 percent from the field and 60 percent from beyond the arc to take a 45-36 lead into the halftime break.
Hannibal-LaGrange struggled offensively early, shooting just 34 percent in the first half but stayed within striking distance thanks to timely free throws and rebounding efforts.
The Trojans flipped the momentum after halftime, shooting an impressive 53.6 percent from the field and 46.7 percent from three-point range in the second half.
A late surge allowed the Trojans to build their largest lead of the game at 14 points with under a minute remaining.
Williams Baptist out rebounded Hannibal-LaGrange 36-30, but the Trojans capitalized on key possessions and second-half efficiency to secure the victory.
